Caught this the other day. fish and chips anyone? This one weighed 115-120lbs according to the tide book. 61.5" long

They are even harder to haul up when they come up backwards. Luckily we are able to retain snagged fish.

That's a nice one, lots of eats there. But in California anything not hooked inside of the mouth has to be returned.

I am glad that I am not in california. The gillnetters are getting a few salmon out front of the hatchery, kings and chums. I hope to get after them soon!
