This fish is my biggest walleye to date, caught a couple years ago. I usually jig in the spring for them, but this is a trolling trip! You may not be able to tell but I am sicker than hell. But definitely happy!

Nice walleye, I think the walleye and perch are the best to eat. We dip our fillets in beat up egg and then coat them with spiced up instant potato flakes and fry in super hot oil.

I completely agree with you. Best fillets. I live in the "Walleye Capitol of the World". So it's only proper to show them off.

Fun to catch once you can figure out the color they want but that seems to change from day to day. A lake here in Montana was just named the number one walleye fishing lake in the lower 48,,was Ft. Peck Dam on the Missouri River in eastern Mt. by the "Infisherman" bunch.

Green and chartruse is hot most of the time here but then the turds will switch to yellow or blue or something way different.

Used to go out of Sandusky for walleye caught a lot nice walleye in the 80's. Have not been out there since 89 probably even better fishing now
