In the late sixties and very early seventies I lived a Hippie lifestyle. After more than forty years I am returning to my old ways. I will no longer cut my hair to please someone else. I will live off the land, as much as possible. I am teaching my grand children that there is very little need for Wal Mart when you can grab a salad right from your garden. I support local markets and avoid goods that are shipped across state or country lines. I am not anti-government but support limited rule. Is there anyone that feels the same as I do?

I like your ways! If I wanted to live off the land, I believe I could. But I do enjoy the luxuries that surround me. That being said, I eat a lot of food that I harvest. I.e deer, fish, fruits/veggies from the garden..etc. That's about as primitive as I get for now!

I don't think there is anything wrong with living like that. I have some friends who already live like that and they seem a lot happier than me.

Don't even get me started on the government. I try not to get too wrapped up into conspiracies but I do believe people are stupid if they believe what is going on now and what has been for many years does not have an alternative motive behind it. As you are, I'm not anti gov but everything is corrupt now in all parties and I'm definitely not for that.
