any one on here make sets in or near culverts if so what kind are they and what traps do u use. usage of baits or lures . pics would be handy also

I love culvert sets! I mostly use 1.5 coil springs, no bait/lure. Just a blind set!   |

However, some times I will put a DP in where I see fit. Its all about having the eye for wildlife behavior. I usually use fish oil and catfish food for my dog proofs...sometimes other scents that are sweet. It all depends on my mood.   |

Pocket sets, smear sets, and trail sets are what I mainly use. If its a dry culvert, I use cubbies,dps, and dirtholes. If its a wide culvert, set both sides of the culvert.
Do not forget to check for trails that go up and around the culvert as some animals will NOT go through the culvert but would rather take the high and dry route.
