Hello all! New to this forum...but not new to the forum sites that are out there. I love everything outdoors, but seem to have found my nitch in trapping! I am from Ohio and I work at Toledo Hospital in surgery. Really loving my career but I plan to further it! Thanks for having me! Hope to see this site grow!

Welcome to the forum from California! It looks like you know your way around a trap or two. And you're a surgical nurse too, very impressive. Hope to hear more of your trapping adventures.

I have trapped and hunted since I was a young child. Due to my states extremely restrictive trapping laws I gave up a sport I loved doing. Hunting isn't difficult it's just a learning process. Know the animal you are hunting and the battle is half over. Shooting well takes practice and that can be done with something as simple as an air rifle. Don't practice off of a rest when possible and you'll become a much better shot. But it does take time and the more you shoot the better you get.

I have no issue shooting. I just do not have the patience, that's what I need to practice.

Patience comes with time. I find that people I take often get buck fever and miss the shot. Patience and practice is usually the answer. Good luck I wish you success.
