I spend some time in the U.P. I'm usually around Marinesco on Sept. 15. I drag the dog and a boat, shooting at pats or fishing. Camp at the different campgrounds, pretty empty that time of year. Only been snowed on once on Sept 16th. Dog and I vote on whether we want to fish or hunt, i win either way. I'm normally camped at Bonds Falls for the walleye opener, bonce between there and Gogebic. If I could convince the wife I would live in the U.P.
