I have several. I collect bird knives and have most of the Case slabs. I also picked up a Case large trapper, serial #1, Norfolk & Southern. Found that one at A flea market and thought the sticker said $350 and walked on by. While I was waiting on my wife I asked the owner to let me look at the knife. It was in a case with many China/India junkers. When I looked at the tag it read $35 and the owner offered ten percent off if I paid cash. Not too many Case serial #1 bought at the price I paid.

No. I think I'll keep it for a while. Although it does not match my collection.

The Case knives I can buy today... Is it worth not using them and saving them for a collection or will they not be worth as much in the future? By that I mean about the same price

I buy the bird knives when they come up with different slabs. I have a couple of the same slabs with different dates, but that got expensive. I have over forty bird knives, all USA made. Case, Remington, Bear, Cold Steel and A couple others.
