It is a bowfin! Nasty varmits ! The rooster just happened to be at my fishing spot, I chased him around. Lol

Ugh, nightmare! My rod/reel is a $300 setup (my cheapest one). I might need to start using an ugly stick for those catfish and such!

I know you would enjoy it, nothing more fun on a flyrod than a 5-6 lb. trout, especially a brown trout, they want to go to the bottom everytime and then fly out and head back down.
