Nice bunch of fur you got there! Great beaver toilet seat cover you're holding too. Did you get like ten muskrat too? It's hard to count them? I used to get lots of muskrat in my area. This was me in the 70's with some muskrat.

This was me in the 70's with some muskrat. Nice rats SJ! I got 11 of them in total, there arent as many around anymore. I think I took all of them out at two of the four places I trapped them I hope some more come back next year

They'll come back I could never eradicate them my trapping areas. I started trapping a little creek and pond area near my home. It had to be close because I had to check it everyday. I could ride my bike and check it and I never ran out of willing animals to fall for my traps. Once I could drive my area expanded greatly. I once got over 40 muskrat in one night. But I used to average 10 or more a day during the season. I liked the mink, beaver and occasional coyote and bobcat I caught. But the muskrat was my bread and butter so to speak.

That is great man! The most I got in a day were two hahaha. In my area we arent allowed to trap any bobcats. I found out a big yote was in my area after their season went out

Coyotes don't have a season out here. But their fur is only decent in late winter.
